Archer Studios – Workforce Housing in San Jose

Work proceeds on the 42-unit Archer Studios project. Scaffolding is in-place for the post-tensioned slab pour scheduled for mid-April. Ground floor cast-in-place columns and walls are up, including the one pictured here that includes the project entry signage.

Archer Studios is a tax credit financed affordable apartment project targeted to serve the low-income community of San Jose. It is ideally located for persons working at the nearby San Jose airport and the hotels/motels surrounding it. The project is being developed by Charities Housing of San Jose. Estimated completion is February 2012. The project was designed using city mandated Build It Green standards.
