New Associates Named at 2258 First Avenue

Maxine Ward and Mathilda Bialk were promoted to Associates at Studio E Architects last week. The pair were recognized for their leadership and self-motivated business development efforts. The two joined the firm within months of each other in 2007 and have since managed some of the firm’s larger and more complex projects, including: West Village at UC Davis, 9th and Broadway and High Tech High, San Marcos.

Both women are licensed California architects. Mrs. Ward is also licensed in the UK. Presently, Maxine is overseeing the Albert Einstein Academy and the Revelle Dining Commons at UCSD while Mathilda shepherds the renovation of the Saxon Suites student housing at UCLA and a second phase of student housing at UC Davis West Village. (Did we mention that this dynamic duo are outstanding multi-taskers?)

Congratulations to these two!
